Memory Notes- Bank, Rank, DIMM, and XOR Interleaving is supported.
- UltraSPARC IIIi supports single bank and dual bank DDR DIMMs.

- The minimum requirement is two DIMMs in any Bank (B0/D0/D1 or B1/D0/D1).
- Only CPU 0 DIMMs are accessible in a single CPU system (CPU 0).
- Memory is mapped globally and is accessible by either CPU in a dual-CPU system.
- Memory error reporting identifies a failing Bank, not a single failing DIMM.
Motherboard Notes- The DB9 IOIOI serial port requires an EMI gasket.
- Motherboards 375-3107, 375-3148, 375-3246, 375-3297, 375-3228, 375-3325, and 375-3459 are without Memory or UltraSPARC IIIi.
- Motherboard FRUs include Motherboard assembly, US IIIi, and Fan/Heatsink.
Part numbers are shown in subheaders above. - Fan/Heatsink FRU F370-5126 includes Fan 370-5126 or 370-7786.
- Fan/Heatsink 370-5126 is not qualified for use with Motherboard 375-3228.
- Fan/Heatsink 370-7016 is not available as a FRU.
- Fan/Heatsink 371-0831 became a secondary source in assemblies using 370-5126, 370-7016, or 370-7786 in February 2006.
- Motherboard replacement requires a 3/16 Hex driver, #2 Phillips driver, and a Slotted driver with a maximum thickness of 0.660 mm (0.026").
- An alternate source for the AMD 29F016 Flash PROM was added in November 2004.
The Macronix 29F016 Flash PROM requires OBP 4.13v2 and ALOM 1.4. - The procedure for replacing the heatsink on V210 and V240 with >= 1.5GHz CPU speeds has changed.
