Uniboard Notes

1. The 559-0071 is a relabeled 540-6085 with L2 Cache rework.
2. The 559 class code is used to separate new (540) and used (559) parts in operations.
3. UniBoards labeled 559 are repaired and relabeled with a 540 class code upon failure.

Notes

1. The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 02/02.
2. CPU/Memory slots are labeled SB0, SB2, and SB4.
3. Four DIMMs of the same size form a bank.
4. A populated DIMM bank requires an UltraSPARC III CPU.
5. Mixing CPU speeds of 900MHz and 1200MHz within a domain or system/platform is supported with firmware level 5.13.0013 or later.
6. UltraSPARC III Cu 2.3 is installed on 540-5245 and 540-5402.
7. UltraSPARC III Cu 2.3 is installed on FRU F540-4979-04.
8. The USIII is Cheetah+ 900MHz, 1015MHz, or 1050MHz.
9. The USIII socket changed from Tyco to Cinch in October 2003.
10. Alternate sockets from Foxcon and Teledyne were added in December 2003.
11. The part number changed from F540-4979 to F540-6085 in December 2003.
12. The CPU/Memory Uniboard includes a toothed rack and the chassis includes clutched pinions in the rear of slots SB0, SB2, and SB4.
