Based on Serial ATA drive and Fibre Channel hardware RAID technologies, the Sun StorageTek 3511 SATA Array scales in capacity
up to 16 TB and offers 12 FC host ports to connect up to 12 servers, or 6 servers in a redundant configuration, eliminating the
need for costly external edge switches and reducing management overhead.
This array is easy to deploy, manage and expand with a common GUI management interface, flexible configuration and management options, online capacity expansion and remote monitoring. Built to NEBS Level 3 and MIL-STD-810F standards, this super-rugged array is designed to withstand the harshest environments, enabling broad flexibility in installation.
